Sea moss (Chondrus crispus and Eucheuma cottonii) is a type of red algae that grows along the rocky coasts of the Atlantic. For centuries, Caribbean and Irish coastal communities have harvested it as a nutrient-dense food and natural remedy.
Sea moss is one of the few plant sources that contains 92 of the 102 minerals the human body needs — including iodine, calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron and zinc. That's why we call it the ocean's multivitamin.
Regular sea moss consumption supports thyroid function, gut health, immune response, skin elasticity and joint recovery. Its high mineral density makes it a popular supplement for energy, endurance and recovery.
Rinse raw moss in spring water, then soak for 12–24 hours until it expands and softens. Blend the soaked moss with fresh water to make a smooth gel. Store the gel in the fridge for up to three weeks and take 1–2 tablespoons daily.
Gold sea moss has a milder flavour and grows in warmer, shallower water. Purple sea moss gets its colour from anthocyanin antioxidants and tends to be slightly more mineral-dense. Both offer the full 92-mineral profile.
Every batch is third-party tested for heavy metals, microbes and contaminants. We harvest from pristine St. Lucia reefs, rinse in spring water and sun-dry on the shore — no chemicals, no pools, no shortcuts.
Most people take 1–2 tablespoons of gel per day, or 2–4 grams of raw moss. Start small and increase gradually — your body will tell you what feels right.
Yes. Our divers harvest from wild reefs off the coast of St. Lucia. We never use farmed or pool-grown sea moss, and every batch is traceable to its harvest location.
Our gels are good for three weeks refrigerated and must be kept cold. Because there are no preservatives, the gel sets naturally and may loosen at room temperature.
Yes, daily use is common and safe for most people. If you have a thyroid condition or are pregnant, consult your healthcare provider first — sea moss is naturally rich in iodine.
